A quick Shopify homepage refresh for a natural snack brand
Zax Snax is a family-run business selling natural, healthy, and tasty coconut snack mixes. I met the founder just before he set off on a nationwide promotional tour to gain interest in his brand.
We worked together on a super quick homepage refresh so his website was ready for traffic to start rolling in.
The old homepage was bright and colorful, but lacked focus and a story. Since the CPG healthy foods space is highly competitive, we wanted to position Zax Snax as something you can enjoy on its own or along with your favorite meals.
To do this, we put the lifestyle imagery front and center. This brought life to the page without overusing gradients. The minimalist boxed layout draws your attention in equal measure to copy and the product images.
Set the mood by using delicious lifestyle images in the header
Put a video mid-page showing how the healthy snacks are made
Added bullets to share the benefits
Grouped testimonials with meal pictures to show how the snacks can be enjoyed
Set up a collections block to encourage bulk ordering to increase AOV
